After originally finding success as the drummer and singer of pop-rock band Twen2y4Se7en, singer and songwriter Andy Keels has since looked to introduce himself to the world as a solo artist in recent months, and now cements his legacy with the brilliant debut EP ‘Fifteen Years’.
After many years of writing, he headed to the prolific Germano Studios in New York earlier this year to work with the Grammy-winning engineer and producer Dave Rowland (Post Malone, The Killers, Kanye West, Justin Bieber, John Legend), where the two cooked up this bold and breezy seven-track collection. His unique and distinct style shines throughout this new offering, and with new single ‘Lie Baby leading the charge, it is clear that this new work means the world to him.
Offering an insight into ‘Lie Baby’, he said, “‘Lie Baby’ is about being unable to walk away from a passionate, volatile relationship”.
Andy’s first body of work makes for a beautifully raw and passionate listen, something that many artists have trouble pulling off.
