B.A.R.O.N.S unveils hard-hitting new single 'Asleep At The Wheel'

B.A.R.O.N.S is back for 2024 as he unveils his latest single, 'Asleep At The Wheel', taken from his full length studio album 'Le Creme De La Meme'.

The single sports a hard-hitting approach to melody and music making, taking a no-holds-barred approach to music making in the process. An emphatic, industrial stomp comes, boundlessly charged with energy and metal-esque need for attention.

Speaking about the full length project, he dives in, “Four years ago, I came back from an operation where I went without cell service and human contact for six months straight. I was in a completely different place with people who either loved you or hated you. Afterwards, I went to Hawaii to spend some time with my family. During my time there, I walked into a shopping mall where I found it crazy that people were paying $300 for a pair of sunglasses… Where I’d just come back from was a place where people, maimed by bullets, mud, sweat, & tears, were just happy to have a hat. This got me thinking about not only how materialistic we have become but also how much of a joke we are, as a species. ‘Le Creme De Le Meme’, which translates to ‘the greatest meme’, is a commentary on society. The greatest meme is us - we’re a badly written joke with a hell of a punchline…”
