Nolan Gross - Action Figures (music video)
Alt-pop artist Nolan Gross has released a visual for his sugary indie ballad ‘Action Figures’. The monochromatic video is set on a beach, and captures Nolan’s ease in front of the camera as well as the hazy, hopeful essence of the song. Shot and edited in one night, this multi-talented artist self-directed the visual alongside videographer Neal Jolly. Watch it here.
Jonny Spalding - Break Me
Writer and producer Jonny Spalding of The Kubricks has released his new solo single ‘Break Me’, featuring soulful vocals from J Appiah and a trumpet lead from Freddie Gavita. BAYLI - sushi for breakfast (remix)
Brooklyn-based artist BAYLI has released a remix of her debut single ‘sushi for breakfast’ featuring the esteemed Junglepussy. This vibrant queer anthem includes moments of R&B, trap, hip-hop and pop, with upbeat, glossy production and irresistible melodies. K I T - Warm
Liverpool based K I T has released debut single ‘Warm’, taken from his upcoming EP which was mastered by Grammy winning Joe Laporta. The upbeat, balmy track ‘Warm’ features indie pop melodies with rock-leaning percussion and guitar lines. Brooklyn native Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L has released another two-track project, entitled ‘Free Therapy Vol. 1’. Featuring the chilled, dreamy hip-hop vibe of ‘Space Suit’ and the stirring, sombre ballad ‘Glass’, Breon reaches more vulnerable depths with his lyrics, presenting his most mature and nuanced body of work to date. Another hip-hop prodigy sprung from Brooklyn is Pook Hustle, who has dropped his dual-track release ‘Purple: Grass Is Always Greener.’ The project includes the buoyant ‘Sickwitit’ as well as the spacey ‘Budapest’, both musing on the complexities of romantic relations and being Black.
