Bryony releases ‘More Than Friends’, the anthem to the summer we all wish we could have had.

Rising pop newcomer Bryony is back with her second single of 2020 ‘More Than Friends’, written and recorded in her bedroom-turned-studio during lockdown.

Drawing inspiration from the likes of Dagny & Sigrid, ‘More Than Friends’ tells the story of finding someone new when you’re used to someone who hasn’t made you happy. The synth hooks are reminiscent of Robyn’s early 2000s hits, with a line in the chorus paying homage to the singer’s ‘Dancing on My Own’. Bryony’s new release builds on the success of her previous singles, which landed her on the BBC Introducing Hotlist and received support from EARMILK, The Most Radicalist, Deer Du Bois, Le Future Wave, Reignland & more.

Produced by Joe Cooper and featuring additional production and mixing from Jack Gourlay (Jess Glynne/Jack Garrett), ‘More Than Friends’ is the anthem to the summer we all wish we could have had.
