Love and lust are the two drivers of human life, leading us to make mistakes, grand gestures, mishandlings and motivational moments. It's not necessarily good or bad, it just is, and this c'est la vie acceptance is something you'll find in Johnny Kulo's new single "Wrong". Produced by August Ingram, this Berlin-based artist taps into the zeitgeist of groove-laden soul. His vocal is crystal clear and malleable, easy to fit int any genre, but perfectly suited to the noodling guitars and sumptuous grooves of this track. Informed by modern day iterations of R&B, indie-pop and jazzy soul music, "Wrong" is an inviting laidback listen.
"I imagine the track will make you reminisce, a cheeky escape to a memory that was precious at the time. Wandering into the idea of what could’ve been and what still could be. A song to send to your ex, an apology note of sorts. I don’t think every song needs to be immensely layered with emotion, I’d love for people to just get lost in the groove."
