Harri Pick moved from Somerset to London to follow her dreams in music. Despite being a risk, it’s certainly paid off. With a successful string of singles already released, Pick has found a signature sound that has enticed an audience in. Her releases blur contemporary and unique together, with the likes of Sam Fender and Wet Leg to be found within her music, but equally these influences come stamped with her own mark.
Her latest release comes in the form of single “Frustrated.” Featuring heavy drums, energetic bass lines and overdrive drenched choruses, the track is sure to make a lasting impression. Unapologetic in its own right, the track takes aim with media and politicians.
Speaking about the single, she says: “Over the last few years, my generation has been constantly scrutinised by the media and politicians regarding people like me as 'snowflakes'. I find it quite frustrating (haha) when I see this. In the end, though, you have to laugh at the hypocrisy of it all. They will be the first ones to complain about something.”
With her sophomore E.P’s (“Dangerous Nostalgia”) release date looming, we cannot wait to see what 2023 has in store for her.
