Ky Bailey Unleashes His Latest EP ‘Does Life Get Any Easier’

Philadelphia-born Ky Bailey returns with his latest body of work ‘Does Life Get Any Easier?’. The EP follows the release of the acclaimed teaser single ‘Imagination’ which has since amassed over 100k streams to date.

Marking his sound with deeply personal lyrics embowered in an atmospheric reverb, the six-track EP stands out as a powerful offering that is equal parts emotive and distinctive. Bailey’s minimalistic approach shines though as the heartfelt nature of the EP places itself on display, weaving evocative guitar chops and cathartic melodies into the sound in the process.

Speaking about the creative process behind the album, Bailey explains, “Vulnerability, authenticity and peace are the three feelings I embodied on this release. This is by far my most mature release since I started making music, creating a short but incredible timeline of love, loss and life. I took inspiration from Bon Iver whilst wanting to recreate the clean production style of the likes of Taylor Swift and the emotional, laid-back chord progressions of Joji, Gotye and D4vd.”
