Ushered in by lustrous electric guitar, the new single ‘Everything’s Good’ from LA-based singer-songwriter Phil Good is an upbeat offering of smooth indie-pop. Phil’s sanguine lyrics are delivered through his mellifluous vocals, and complemented by a buoyant backing track. Accompanied by a Joren Cull-animated official music video, this polished pop single and video is yet another indication of Phil Good’s unlimited potential.
Speaking of the release, Phil says: “Even though I’m sarcastically saying that ‘everything’s good’ in the song, I think it’s important to be optimistic and remind yourself and those around you that things could always be much worse. You’re still here, reading this on your phone, maybe on the couch or the toilet.. who knows. But you’re alive and breathing and that alone is pretty ‘everything’s good’ right now.”
The new release follows single and video ‘Living With No One’ which premiered on Variance Magazine in April. Earlier this year, Phil was featured on ‘Stuck On You’, the lead single from GRAMMY® Award-winning producer RAC’s new album ‘Boy.’ All this follows Phil Good’s signing to Elektra Records, which was announced by Billboard last autumn. He’s received acclaim from Ones To Watch, Lyrical Lemonade and Earmilk amongst other notable praises, and recently supported James Young on his Happiest Year North America Tour. With the release of the charismatic new single ‘Everything’s Good’, Phil Good is en-route to something great.
