Renegade is an explosive new single, created as a collaboration between several artists. Producers DarkMark, Harlyyn, Hekler, Juelz, juuku, RemK and Stay Loose have worked with vocalists chæ, Darkmark, midnight and Wasiu for this momentous effort. The song serves to show solidarity and support for the Black community during the Black Lives Matter movement, with 100% of the proceeds donated to the Color of Change organisation.
Speaking of the release, producer Juelz says: “Two weeks ago I was compelled to create something with the sole purpose of helping to fight for equality of Black people in America. With the help of several very talented friends, we came up with this a week or so later.”
The futuristic and iridescent visuals that accompany that track feature the names of some of the Black people who have been murdered by police in America, paying homage to those whose lives have been tragically and unjustly lost. The song itself has a colossal feeling, with electric guitar and pounding beats all building towards a revolutionary climax. This track fills listeners with hope that change is finally on its way.
