The talented rocker has had a love for sound for decades but, as so many of us may have found, life all too often gets in the way of our creative passions.
Thirty years after reluctantly giving up on his dreams of rock-stardom, Killing Kenny is back to bring us new sounds with an unapologetic style.
‘These Streets’ is a hard-hitting Rock And Roll single, Kenny’s power-packed vocals are absolutely striking, sitting over a hefty foundation of bright guitars and punchy drums to create a classic rock feel with a distinct Country twist.
No stranger to the scene Killing Kenny has been performing in bands since the late 80s, with decades of songwriting and music-making experience under his belt it's no surprise ‘These Streets’ is filled with a sense of true instrumental prowess.
Changing his style, swapping out his sound and hopping between various bands one thing has stood firm for Kenny, his passion for songwriting.
“Music and writing has always been part of my life for many, many, many years. Sadly, it took a back seat, becoming more of a private hobby and some hard-hearted people may even say self-indulgence... at the age of 53 and have now embarked on a new era, as a singer/songwriter. I do look forward to hearing from you and naturally also look forward to seeing you all at Wembley stadium in the near future! Well, we can dream, can’t we?”
Killing Kenny reminds us of just how important passion is, with a raw love for music that even time has been unable to suppress, Kenny is only just getting started.
