While he has already built a successful career under his moniker Gabriel Antonio, Tony Chevy is going strong on his new alias as well, releasing his first single for this year with “Lights On”. A truly experienced musician, Tony Chevy had his major breakout as early as 2010 with R&B hit “I Love The Way”, that was featured on MTV and has recently even been gaining traction on massive platform TikTok. The smooth single was followed by two albums from the talented artist, as well as a tour with superstar Kesha in 2017.
Tony Chevy’s latest release comes in the form of “Lights On”, and is a straight summer bop. Also coming out with a club-friendly remix, “Lights On” offers infectious beats and energy all throughout; the single starts off with catchy guitar melodies and Tony Chevy’s soulful vocal lines before moving into a dancehall-inspired chorus filled with trumpet melodies and sweet samples.
