This week, we're loving 'Kosmo', the new single from Maie, the emerging VR artist who has set out to crack the stereotype of these so-called "virtual idols" common in China's music scene. Her story might not look anything like ours, well how many fo us can jump through different metaverses and change our appearance at whim? But her pursuit for a place to belong and for a real sense of identity is something that the Gen Z youth in particular will relate to. While we don't want to give anything away about the video for 'Kosmo', we can't help but be drawn into the cosy environment of the song's final scene. She's like you, but she's not like you - that's the thing about Maie.
