Young indie group Redfeather burst onto the scene with "Checkered Lines"

Having drawn inspiration sonically from classic bands like Oasis and The Stone Roses and modern favourites Catfish and The Bottlemen and The 1975, Birmingham based, up and coming indie group Redfeather mark out their own space in the catalogue with “Checkered Lines”.

Recorded with fellow indie group Cabbage at their Brassica Studios, “Checkered Lines” is an anthemic track full of searing guitar riffs and bolshy drums. It's an incredibly atmospheric track for the indie genre and makes the most of tension as an important sonic quality. On the inspiration behind “Checkered Lines”, frontman Hayes explains "Checkered Lines is a song about the moment my life changed, the best night of my life and the first time I met the most amazing person I will ever meet."

Considering that they only formed in early 2020, the past year has been an exceptionally busy and productive one for the group. Having amassed over 10,000 views in total over multiple platforms through their own full production livestream and live sessions, the group are clearly harnessing the power of digital and looking to be innovative players in the industry.

Having headlined their first gig at Dead Wax, it is certain that the Redfeather will only grow in confidence throughout 2021 and flourish as a new and exciting talent on the scene!
